A group of six acetate album recordings of the pre-inauguration party for John F. Kennedy on January 19, 1961. The event was produced by Frank Sinatra and featured speeches by President-elect Kennedy, Vice President-elect Lyndon Johnson, and performances by Ethel Merman, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, Nat King Cole, Jimmy Durante, Harry Belafonte, Milton Berle and Bill Dana, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Kelly, and others. The records bear labels from "Radio Recorders" with the client named as "Essex Productions" with typed information stating who appears on the album. These acetates were made from the original tapes of the performance and sent to Sinatra for his review. Categories:
