A single sheet of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" letterhead dated April 6, 1977. The letter is in response to an invitation from the International Society of Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy to attend their banquet and receive the honor of being inducted into their hall of fame. Roddenberry regrets that he is contractually obligated to be in Hawaii at that time but is very honored to be in the company of other hall of fame inductees. Other members of the hall of fame included at that time; Forrest Ackerman, Robert Bloch, Bob Clampett, Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel among others.
