Copy of a Jacobus Stainer violin, made in Germany, signed "To Ray, Best wishes, Jack Benny. " Violin is in delicate condition with some breaks, comes in a vintage case. Jack Benny began his career as a violinist. His parents hoped he would become a great musician and began taking him to violin lessons at age 6. Benny did not enjoy practicing but did enjoy playing music. After being expelled from high school he joined the vaudeville circuit. For over four decades Benny was a radio, television and stage success and the violin his trademark instrument. Categories:
