Original charcoal and graphite on board scene sketches for Walt Disney Pictures' 1943 war propaganda documentary, "Victory Through Air Power. " This unique film used animated sequences to promote Major Alexander de Seversky's theories about the practical uses of long range strategic bombing to help the allies during World War II. Each sketch is signed by Bill Herwig in pencil in the lower right. Herwig is the credited art director for this film, which was nominated for an Academy Award. 8 1/2 by 11 inches Categories:
