Swiss, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Gilt bronze clock with white face with black numbering with "DuBois & Fils" at lower half of dial behind hinged swing front glazed door. Clock face underneath finial of a kneeling nude figure holding a snake with bird face in his arm and a flaming torch in the other. Circular clock face supported by tail of scaled dolphins on sides with heads reading on rectangular plinths with floral and urn decoration. Mantle clock with star and face decorated swinging pendulum in front of figural relief imagery. Clock raised on four ball and claw feet at front and two bun feet at back. Accompanied with key. Height 12.9 inches, width 7.4 inches, depth 3.5 inches.
