"Dr. Kildare" script labeled "W. Shatner" and signed by William Shatner. The script, titled "Twenty-Four Hours," was the first episode of the NBC series that began in 1961. Shatner auditioned for and was offered the role of "Dr. Kildare." When he turned down the show, Richard Chamberlain went on to play the leading role.
