Beads, Glass, Stones, Metallic Stones on Epiphone Les Paul guitar. Created by an anonymous donor. The guitar has been designed to represent the colors of the sky using tones of blues, greys, and whites. The sky represents a powerful rising source. This guitar is dedicated to Music Rising, an organization founded in 2005 to assist and aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The design is comprised of mosaic cross, to represent the spiritual side of music, surrounded by hand-cut pieces of mirror and shells. The guitar also features a green stone path winding around the guitar to signify that music can rise anywhere and the path is never ending. The back is emblazoned with a series of words that were randomly suggested by several individuals when asked “What does music mean to you.” Each response was carefully outlined in a circular design to represent those feelings. Music can rise anywhere and lift spirits. This guitar was finished off with acrylic paint and other elements. Categories: Les Paul
