Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s Certificate of Marriage, numbered 175632 and dated May 1, 1967. The certificate was issued by Clark County from the state of Nevada. The ceremony only took eight minutes and was conducted by Justice of the Supreme Court of Nevada David Zenoff. The certificate is witnessed by Joe Esposito and Marty Lacker, who had senior roles in Elvis’s entourage. Lacker had known Elvis since his school days, and Esposito had known Elvis since his Army days. The certificate is dated May 1, 1967, but is stamped May 5, 1967, and was, in fact, never received by Elvis or Priscilla. A clerk at the Clark County, Nevada, Registry of Marriages kept this original document and later sold it. The certificate was featured in a 2012 Australian touring exhibition of items from The King's Castle that was endorsed by Graceland, the Estate of Elvis Presley, and comes with a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated. 6 3/4 by 8 1/2 inches Categories: Elvis Presley
