A pen that belonged to and was used by Frank Sinatra. The vintage pen was made for guests of the Sands hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sinatra regularly performed at the Sands, and he recorded his first commercially released live album, “Sinatra at the Sands,” at the hotel. The pen is a retractable ballpoint colored gold with a black logo of the Sands printed on the front half of the barrel and “Las Vegas, Nevada” printed below. This item was acquired directly from Sinatra’s personal costumer and longtime friend, Michael Castellano. Castellano began working with the entertainer in 1976 after replacing Sinatra’s previous personal aide, Eddie Fitzsimmons. Castellano quickly became Sinatra’s “right hand man” and performed numerous duties for Sinatra while maintaining his stage and personal wardrobe collection. Mr. Castellano received this pen as a personal gift from Sinatra prior to leaving his service in 1981. He has retained the item in his possession since that time. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Castellano. Categories: Frank Sinatra
