Italian, 20th century. 80 piece Buccellati sterling silver flatware set comprising of 16 dinner forks, 18 salad forks, 16 spoons, 13 coffee spoons, 11 knives, two smaller spoons, a sauce ladle, a shell form pierced serving spoon, a butter spreader knife, and a cake knife. Each item (with exception of dinner knives) marked on back "BUCCELLATI STERLING ITALY". Dinner knives marked with "925" within oval form on handle and with "ITALY" stamped on handle. Total weight of group approximately 165 troy ounces. Accompanied with copies of invoices for purchases by Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton from Beverly Bremer, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia for pieces from set. Provenance: Purchased from Beverly Bremer, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia in January of 1992 by Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Marie Patton.
