Frank Zappa’s War Ration book. War Ration Book No. 3 numbered 12408 with stamp validation. Labeled by name in pencil “Frank r. Zappa Jr.” with address written in ink “4644 Park Heights” additionally marked “Book IV” in ink at lower right corner. The book contains four pages of remaining rations. The United States Office of Price Administration began rationing in 1942 when Zappa was two years old.
