A pen and ink drawing on paper, signed "David Lee Roth 2007 and Beyond!! " Roth says of himself "I simply have to be creative all the time. I have to create new things." The author, musician, songwriter, and sometimes actor has recorded nine solo albums and eight albums with Van Halen.
