A pair of antique rustic side chairs with floral chintz upholstered seats, from the personal collection of Barbra Streisand. A chair matching the same form can be seen in a photograph depicting Streisand's kitchen which appeared in the August, 1967 issue of House & Garden Magazine . Additionally, both the cover photo and interior layout of the May, 1978 issue of Architectural Digest features an abundance of the same floral chintz adorning Streisand's bedroom. The fabric is stated in the article as having come from the luxury dealers Clarence House. The two chairs were originally sold to benefit the Streisand Foundation. Each chair is labeled with inventory tags from Christie's.
