A navy blue wool tuxedo jacket and pants with black bowtie owned and possibly worn by Marlene Dietrich. The jacket is double-breasted with black silk lapels. No size or maker labels. Dietrich was known for her controversial sexual views and often wore men's clothing in her film and public images. Accompanied by a letter with a preprinted signature from Dietrich's grandson J. David Riva, stating that the rare men's tuxedo belonged to his grandmother. Dietrich is pictured here in a similar tuxedo.
