A frock coat purportedly worn by Ward Bond as Wes Handley in The Oklahoma Kid (Warner Bros. , 1939). The black wool coat has four buttons, a slash breast pocket, two flap pockets, and a change pocket and is lined in black satin. A Western Costume Co. label inscribed “#3 W. Bond 47” and a stamp in the sleeve with “Suit 3 PCE K #400” are present. The coat has been attributed as having been worn at Bogey’s saloon and while testifying at the trial and at the hanging. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the film. Categories:
