A marled blue wool jacket worn by Claire Trevor as Lady MacBeth in Lucy Gallant (Paramount, 1955). The jacket is trimmed with black velvet along collar, cuffs and front underside, is lined in ivory crepe, and has two slit pockets. A Paramount label inscribed “Clair Trevor” and a studio cleaning tag are present. The jacket is worn in the final scene at the board room meeting and fashion show. Costume design by Edith Head.
