A headpiece worn by Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1956). The headpiece of burnt orange home spun fabric and gold tone headband with attached painted snake and internal original black felt lining has a Paramount label inscribed “Moses-3." Heston wears this headpiece in the scene where Moses is trying to get the Obelisk raised and Pharaoh Rameses I (played by Ian Keith) and Prince Rameses II (played by Yul Brynner) confront Moses about his compassion towards the slaves.
