Ringo Starr’s clear Tivoli Vistalite drum kit used in the made for TV movie Ringo (D. I.R. Broadcasting, 1978). Starr used the drums to perform “Heart on My Sleeve” and “Hard Times” in the film. Starr played both of the lead roles in the film, Ognir Rrats and himself in the updated Prince and the Pauper- themed movie. Ludwig produced Tivoli's between 1972 and 1979. The acrylic shells were made by Cadillac Motors and outfitted by Ludwig. The ingenious addition of lights was introduced by companies like Zickos and Fibes. The power cords, transformers and drum connection cables from the lighting unit are absent from this kit. The interior white lights have not been tested.
