A gold tone Deputy Sheriff badge issued to Tommy Henley by Shelby County law enforcement in the state of Tennessee. The six-pointed star badge has a banner at the top that reads “Captain” and is additionally numbered “3.” Henley was a member of the “Special Deputy Program” along with Elvis Presley and other members of Presley's security staff. The badge gave Henley full police powers. Accompanied by a letter from Shelby County Sherriff’s Department Administrative Assistant Tom Morgan Jr. stating that this was the badge he issued to Tommy Henley in September 1978 and the same badge that had previously been issued to Vernon Presley.
