Switzerland, 1968 de-bossed and offset printed paper 10 w x 6¾ h in (25 x 17 cm)
Oppenheim is best known for her fur-lined cup which has come to symbolize the essence of the Surrealist movement.
This rare print references her earlier work through its image of a hoof and hairy face which form a hand-held mirror. From the edition of approximately 2000 published by Letter Edged in Black Press; this example is one of the 100 signed works. Signed and drawn on in crayon to front.

estimate: $500–700
result: $748
