This work relates to a series of sculptures that Nauman created between 1988 and 1989, including Untitled (Three Large Animals) , in the collection of Tate Britain and Untitled (Three Part Large Animals) , in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Several sculptures from this series were on view at Nauman's Texas Gallery exhibition in 1989.
