This early, rare example of Friedberg's 14-karat gold leaf Hand chair was acquired by art dealer Edith Coliere directly from Pedro Friedeberg in the mid-sixties. Coliere included this chair in the furnishings of her Mexico City home and moved it to New York for her apartment on Central Park West. Most recently, the chair was in her collection in Acapulco, Mexico. Signed in marker on bottom. more
