Bertoia utilized the medium of monography to create over a thousand prints throughout his career. Although they are printed, each image is as unique as a drawing or painting is, and Bertoia would often refer to them as such. The image presented here is likely a study for Syracuse University's massive "Nova" by Bertoia from 1961.
