Leza McVey studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and taught at Cranbrook with Maija Grotell from 1947 through 1955. McVey's ceramics were among the most innovative and original of her time. She disliked the symmetry of wheel-thrown pottery and instead produced assertive asymmetrical forms. Incised signature. Exhibited: Cleveland Institute of Art (labeled).
