Walter Plunkett (American, 1902-1982). A limited edition set of six lithographs depicting the iconic costume designer's sketches for the best known costumes in Gone With The Wind (published 1975), each print signed by the artist in pencil and numbered "750/1000", the prints enclosed in original large format folder and envelope, with enclosures listing Plunkett's filmography and biography. Costume designs include five for Vivien Leigh's Scarlett O'Hara and one for Clark Gable's Rhett Butler. Costume design with Scarlett's pink and green floral dress further inscribed "Memories of dear Walter / with love Fred Crane / Brent Tarleton / GWTW '39". Each print sheet size approximately 20" x 16".
