Chinese. Circa 1900. The hinged lid carved with dragons and a symbol, applied with a silver plaque on the reverse, the box with jade sides. Length 3 1/2". (1000/1500) Note: This lot is being re-offered for sale due to the fact that Live Auctioneers Bidder, Yixiong Huang of China, failed to honor his commitment to pay for it. He purchased it in our October 2013 auction.
