Shortly after the work was purchased from Makler Gallery, the owner reached out to Harry Bertoia regarding the sounds the sculpture made.
In 1975, Bertoia adjusted the weights on the rods, fine-tuning the motion and sound of the work. Sold with original correspondence from the artist.
