Parcel gilt and enameled silver strap bracelet, "Musician Angel of Paradise" stands within an oval blue enamel window flanked by white trifid armed crosses, scroll links with gilt half-bead joints, ca. 1847. Marked Froment Meurice, French import mark for silver, after 1893. 7" x 2" - 1". 60.4 gs. Note: Francois-Desire Froment Meurice (1802-1855) appointed goldsmith jeweler to the City of Paris in 1839, gold medalist in French industrial Exposition of 1844, this bracelet was likely purchased at the Great Exhibition, Crystal Palace, London, 1856. Provenance: Collection of Dora Jane Janson.
