Large English Silverplate Turkey Dome Large English silverplate turkey dome with engraved armorial crest and motto; by Elkington circa 1880; dome is topped with a large figural artichoke finial; measures approximately 11" tall, 18" wide, and 14" deep. According to "Armorial Families: A Directory of Gentlemen of Coat-Armor (Volume 2)", the armorial crest is that of Lloyd of Stockton, Yorks and features "three lions dormant in pale sable...a cubit arm vested azure, cuffed argent, the hand grasping a lizard fessewise proper" inside of the crest with the motto "PWY VAEDDIA NI DEFFRO" underneath.
