WWI Regimental German beer stein; features a pewter lid with soldier and griffin finial as well as a crowned eagle finial to lid handle and foliate accents encircling lid; reads "JHR Bruder Stosst Die Gläser An Es Lebe Der Reservemann", "Reserve Hat Ruh" and "Der Treu Gedient Hat Seine Zeit Dem Sei Ein Volles Glas Geweiht" around the lid; porcelain body features several scenes depicting soldiers and battle scenes with gilded accents throughout and a figural embellishment to back of handle; several German markings throughout; Lithophane on bottom depicts a soldier and a woman with a basket; measures approximately 12-1/2" tall to top of finial.
