Oil on canvas depicting a beach landscape; signed M. Hart in bottom left corner; measures approximately 32" x 44" with nice frame that resembles beach wood and has a sight image of approximately 23-1/2" x 35-1/2". Mary Hart, a native Charlestonian, was recognized as one of the most accomplished young artists in the Southeast. Mary has had a life long interest in art and started painting seriously in 1974. She studied drawing and perspective with artist, poet and philosopher Auriel Bessemer.
