A matched pair of Empire open armchairs or fauteuils, each with slightly scrolled crestrail over a rectangular upholstered back, downscrolled leaf tip carved arms enclosing the bow front seat raised on splayed legs. Padded back and seat covered in a red and cream stripped upholstery. Approximate height 36", width 22.75"(arm to arm), seat depth 16", seat height 15.5".
