Three Early to Mid Nineteenth Century Pickpocketing Prints. Including an 1829 hand colored engraving (15 x 11”) by G. Gans (London, May 19, 1829) titled “A Sharpshooter fee. A Thundering Peal to Thieves, Pickpockets watchmen, &c. &c.”; with a pickpocketing lithograph by d’Aubert & Cie (Paris, ca. 1860s); and “Un Triomphe d’Avocat” (ca. 1860s), a full color lithograph showing an acquitted defendant pickpocketing his lawyer. Good to very good condition.
