980. Group of Six Vintage Cigarette Cases and Humidors. Various countries of origin, early to mid-twentieth century. Including a Pineider Italian Leather cigarette case, ornamented in gilt on a rectangular base, the front hinged panel unfolding to reveal three cigarette trays with leather straps; a mechanical black Americana Japanese cigarette dispenser, front shutter decorated with a scene of Mount Fuji, opening to reveal a pop-up black figure in a red top hat holding a single cigarette; an oak cigarette box with a geometric inlay on the lid and iron latch; and three wooden humidors, including one ca. 1930s French mahogany box and an antique American oak box with inlaid daisy and brass hinges, the interior padded and lined with teal cloth. The largest 9 ½ x 4 ¼ x 2”. Generally very good.
