966. Antique English Toleware Strongbox. England, ca. 1900s. Painted in black, gold, and red, with a decorative outer brass plate and handle. Equipped with a black coin tray divided into three compartments with a sliding handled centerpiece and hinged side lids affixed with ringlets. Lock-plate stamped “Secure Four Lever” and “Made in Great Britain.” Original key included. 6 x 4 x 3”. Minor paint chips and tarnish.
