Griffin, Ken. Ken Griffin/Navo The Indian Magician ephemera archive. Large collection of over 70 vintage photographs, music cue sheets, brochures, letterheads, newspaper clippings and printed ephemera for this touring magic show and spook show (Griffin worked for “Kara Kum’s”) which played throughout America and abroad for over three decades. Some material with holographic notations. 1940s – 70s. Sizes vary. Neatly organized in a three-ring binder. Condition generally very good. Griffin (1914 – 1988) began his career performing as the Indian magician, Navo, featuring Claycha (Roberta Griffin, 1916 – 1996) the Mystery Maiden. Griffin was of American Indian descent.
