Hamilton, Warren. Warren Hamilton Christmas card. Tampa Florida, ca. 1950. Six-color spray-painted card on heavy stock with rabbit-in-hat motif. 9 x 12”. Folds from mailing, otherwise very good. Hamilton’s finishes for his various magic props has become a thing of legend among magicians and magic collectors. Here, his skill with an airbrush and set of hand-cut stencils is evident on something of an extremely ephemeral nature. Though stylized to a high degree, the attention to detail in this card is impressive to say the least.
