Clipped broadsheet (14 x 9”) leaves from the journals The Encore and The Music Hall and Theatre Review, one promoting the “sensational jail breaker” in performance at the Palace Theatre, the other a photographic cover portrait of the Houdinis in an illustrated pastoral scene. Repaired at folds. Many chips and losses; some darkening and ink smudges.
