Heller, Robert (William Henry Palmer). Robert Heller handbill. Boston, ca. 1868. Letterpress handbill heralding a performance by this famous English conjurer, humorist, and musician. 5 x 9”. Minor wear at edges. Heller’s three-part performance included Second Sight, Stodare’s Sphinx illusion (a human head chiseled from stone will “deliver its Oracular Wisdom of by gone ages,” then crumble to dust), and pianoforte solos.
