Blackstone, Harry. Portrait of Magician Harry Blackstone, Sr. Chicago, Bloom Studio, ca. 1946. Three-quarter length oversize lobby photo of Blackstone in white tie and tails. Handsomely framed to an overall size of 17 x 20”. Some folds visible; not examined out of frame. Originally owned by Blackstone’s neighbor, Donald “Monk” Watson, a showman who was born and raised in Colon, Michigan, the small town where Blackstone lived for nearly 25 years.
