Die and Box of Flags. Los Angeles, F.G. Thayer, ca. 1919. A wooden die vanishes from a small mahogany box and reappears in a previously empty hat. The box is now filled with silk flags. Die 3 x 3 x 3”. Good. An uncommon and early Thayer effect, invented by Louis Christianer.
