[Automata] Coppélia. Christian Bailly. Bi-annual. N1 (First half, 1993) – N10 (second half, 1997). Complete file [?]. In a custom drop spine box, with material related to the Bagatelle exhibit of automata organized by Bailly, and papers related to the Association des Amis des Automates laid in. Very good. Published in English and French by the Association des Amis de Automates, Coppélia pictures and describes valuable and rare automata, providing details on makers old and new (among them Robert-Houdin), exhibits, and auctions related to this subject so closely allied with conjuring. The Association, no longer in existence, had fewer than 250 members at its peak, and consequently, complete files of its well-produced periodical are uncommon.
