1849 Barnum’s Philadelphia Museum Broadside. New York. P. T. Barnum Proprietor and Manager. Printed the year Barnum’s Museum opened at this location, Seventh and Chestnut Streets, Philadelphia. The Museum was destroyed by fire in 1851. In addition to the various presentations Barnum was famous for, this Museum also held theatrical performances. Double sided. Approximately 24 x 19 ½”. Age-consistent wear; good.
