771. Official GM Photo Archive of Cadillac Automobiles. M & E Photographic, 1900s – 70s. Comprising over 400 different 8 x 10” photographs, each stamped on verso by the Cadillac Motor Car Division with a unique print number. Including approximately 160 photos from 1900s – 30s, 43 photos from the 1940s, 70 photos from the 1950s, 100 photos from the 1960s, and 18 from the 1970s. Although the vast majority of the images depict automobiles, a small number also illustrate various Cadillac engines. Together with two oversize Cadillac photographs and a number of photo slides from the early 1970s associated with a Cadillac Motor Car advertising campaign in which golfer Arnold Palmer was a company spokesman.
