83. Evans, Val. Val Evans’ Die Box. Massachusettes, Val Evans, 1911. The traditional sucker die box trick, owned, built, and used by vaudeville magician Val Evans. According to a note accompanying the prop, this was the first prop Evans built for his own use. 8 ¾ x 5 ¼”. Folk-art look. Good. This prop was given to Bill King by Val Evans’ wife.
