S & J Fuller “Imperial Royal” Playing Cards. 34 Rathbone Place, London, England, ca. 1828. 50/52 (Lacks 9D, 2H). Court cards portray historical figures of France, England, Spain and Turkey. Ace of spades is the “Old Frizzle One Shilling” and the Ace of clubs bears the publisher’s name and address. The other two aces are decorated with the Royal Insignia. Gold embellishments decorate the courts. VG-. Soiled, but no cards bent or torn.
