The Hunchback of Notre Dame Panoramic Photo. Universal, 1923. Possibly unique, oversized panoramic photograph (8 x 60”) taken on set in the production of this 1923 classic drama starring Lon Chaney. Hundreds of cast members are seen in costume, the film crew and large crowds of spectators viewing the action. In a contemporary frame, the photo shows no visible curling or cracks. The emulsion has not shrunk. Fine; not examined out of frame.
