Coin Vanishing Casket. New York, Martinka & Co., ca. 1880. Brass-bound plush-covered box (3 ¼ x 2 ¾ x 2 ½") which accommodates four half dollars. Upon closing the lid, an internal spring-loaded mechanism effects the vanish of the coins. Light wear as expected; good condition. Scarce.
