Ballot Box Mystery. Los Angeles, F.G. Thayer & Co., ca. 1920. Small mahogany box with black lacquered handle and three French-polished turned wooden balls in red, black and green comprise the apparatus. A spectator places one ball inside the box and hides the other two. Regardless, the magician determines the color of the ball inside the box. Very good condition.
