Magical Card Cabinet. Likely English, ca. 1890. Oblong hardwood box with nine interior compartments containing various gimmicked decks of cards with plaid Steamboat-type backs, including Stripper, Electric, Forcing, short and narrow decks. Red paper label in cabinet's lid denotes which decks and trick cards are to be included. Cabinet measures 10 x 4 x 4 ¼". Wear and chips to exterior of cabinet, packs also worn and some may not be original; overall good condition. Uncommon.
